Bill Purcell 

Bill Purcell has served on the Board of Trustees for the Southern Nevada Sports Hall of Fame since its inception and was the first Executive Director of the organization. He is currently the Assistant General Manager of the South Point Arena. His experience also includes being the Director of Sales and Marketing for the Orleans Arena. He has also served on the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation Board. Purcell attended UNLV from 1979-1982 majoring in Hotel/Gaming studies, and also played wide receiver/defensive back for the UNLV Rebels football team from 1979-82. Purcell is married to Susan and has a son, Jeff, and a grandson, Dylan
