Hall of Fame for Tarkanian
Southern Nevada Sports Hall of Famer (Class of 1998) Coach Jerry Tarkanian will enter the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts on September 8th, 2013. Tarkanian led UNLV to the national title in 1990 and also took the Runnin' Rebels to the Final Four in 1977, 1987 and 1991. He finished his career with a 729-201 record.
